[W.I.P] 1/144 HG Tieren Space Type (Priming)

Hi guys! Firstly, give yourself a pat on your back if you guess it correctly on my last post Yeap, as the title says, it’s a 1/144 HG Tieren Space Type. Bought it along with other loot I have last month which is very cheap (600 yen)!

So I managed to prime it last night and spend one whole can of Tamiya Primer. Looks like I still left some seamlines exposed . Got to putty it before painting it tomorrow.

After a month hiatus…

Hi guys! It has been a month since the last post. Couldn’t help it as I am quite busy at the moment (mostly office stuff). Luckily, I’m in holiday now for two weeks and that means one thing… To fill it with all of my hobbies.

So far, I just finished watching Black Lagoon 1 & 2 and I say it’s a damn good anime! It’s full of actions and made me keep on watching continuously. Love the character especially Revy who in my opinion is one crazy BIATCH! You don’t want to mess up with her, honestly! Can’t wait for the new OVA to come out here

And of course, with this ample time, I should be able to finish one gunpla. Currently, I primed it already and perhaps I will paint it tomorrow. What gunpla is it? Hehehe, I leave for you guys to guess it (Hint: I got it for 600 yen from HLJ after 60% discount)

Actually, I’m quite hesitant to post this cause I just help my friend to snap-fit it and that’s all. But then, maybe for the sake of other plamo out there, I say WTH.

Long story cut short, my friend, Juwl bought this guy like 4-5 years ago and then stopped in the midway. So recently he suggested me to finish it and I agree to snap-fit it and maybe paint it.

Many nub marks and even broken parts like head and ankle. >.< Fix it immediately with cement.

At first, it’s quite awkward for me to snap-fit this guy as this is my first Kotobukiya plamo. But I do really enjoyed building this and amazed at the detail and design of this mecha. Suddenly, I thought I can’t paint this guy now cause I might make some silly mistake as I just started with this hobby. Maybe after 2-3 MGs then I’ll do it.

So, now this guy is already back with my friend. I do miss it. Maybe I will buy one of these Kotobukiya’s AC for me.

Well, it was not long day ago that I said I was broke and don’t have any money to buy paints for my gunpla and what do you know… I bought another gunpla …hahahaha… BTW, it’s my first SD gunpla as well and this guy is really cool as it can transform like the MG. Hopefully, Bandai will make the HGUC transform as well.. tho it’s highly unlikely IMO.

Anyway, this guy can transform not only Unicorn and Destroy Mode but also Beast Mode but i decided not to pose it cause …it’s just weird. Oh, finish snap-fitting this guys like 1-2 hours. For newbie like me, that’s fast.

Hehehe, this month i bought many stuff including one very important thing… yeap, it’s Tamiya Spray-Work Basic Air Compressor with Airbrush. Heheh, as what i said in the last two posts, I would buy it only after buying two or three more gunplas. Heck I did!!! I bought one 1/144 HG Susanowo and one 1/144 HGUC Nu-Gundam at Kawanria Shop at Mall, Gadong. Hahaha. But I don’t think I would be able to use the airbrush since I am quite busy for this month plus got no more money to spend for the color + thinner

Finish snap-fitting this guy last 2 weeks ago but lazy to do update. So here it is and what I say about this gunpla is that it’s quite huge and even almost as big as 1/100 NG Cherudim (forgot to take picture of both together). Plus, the build is quite solid and sturdy I might say. Probably, more HGUC gunpla will come soon. Heheheh.

Finally, after several mistakes and broken some of the parts, I managed to finish this gundam. Many things I had learned after building it especially about snap fitting, wet sanding, painting etc. I’m sure I will learned more as I will keep on building more gunplas after this.

As for now, I’m considering to buy this as I think it is more economical for me to buy it rather than buying the spray color cans in the long runs. Maybe after I have 2 or 3 more gunplas.

With this, enjoy some of the pictures of my completed Cherudim.

Just received this loot last week from amiami.com, and lazy to do the update… Anyway this baby will have to wait until next month before i have the chance to snap fit it as I’m very busy at the moment with Cherudim and also Final Fantasy XIII. Until then, it will stay in the box for a while along with Sazabi …

[W.I.P] 1/100 NG Cherudim Gundam

My first gunpla. My first tought when I bought it was since it’s a No Grade (NG), I tought it will be quite easy for newbie likes me. Turn out to be the other way round . Should had bought my self a HG first…

But, in the end I managed to snap fitted everything (even though I put some wrong stickers and some small round stuff in the leg parts on the wrong sides :p)

Next step, again my noobness earns me a hard lesson. I forgot to sandpapering some of the parts smoothly which leave me some nip marks :s. So I open everything back and try this wet sandpapering which I just learned. And it’s working like a charm.

Maybe, by this Friday, my Cherudim will be ready for priming. I hope.
